At the Mercy of the Courts

As we waited longer for the courts to step in and on our court date, it was rough, waiting to know when we could see SS.
FINALLY, we had our court hearing (it was over the phone with just our lawyers) BM wouldn't agree to ANYTHING! So the judge ordered NO child support! That really made her lawyer mad. BM said the only way AD would see SS was with her and without me....
Well the judge didn't go for it.  He order AD UNSUPERVISED visits THREE days a week!
FINALLY we were able to get SS and actually spend time with him!!

Meeting for the First Time!

I was able to meet my little bonus son before court.  BM didn't want me around and demanded SS was NEVER to meet me.  But one say AD and I showed up where SS lived. BM was at work. So the people they lived with say outside with us and talked, SS was asleep.  SS woke up while we were there and they decided to bring him outside so he could see Daddy and meet me.
He was 9 months old, I had been around since he was 2 months old.  The little  man was already walking! He was shy, but he would giggle at me. He had this red ball that he would throw around. It was such a great first meeting and visit.
About a week later AD and I showed up again, and again BM was working. So the people that were there with SS got him dressed and we all went to McDonalds for lunch. SS was warming up to me by then. I was able to snap a few pictures this time. He looked just like his Daddy!
That was the time we got to see SS before court.
